Alde Heating Clock

I have a new swift with alde heating. I am perplexed as to the setting to bring on heat. How do you set the actual time of day on the clock in order to bring on heat at say 1800 hours. My big question is - how does the system know what time it is as there is no instructions in the manual to show how to set the actual live time of day. May be the system sets the actual live time by satellite but if that is so it is a pity instructions in the manual would not say so. Should I simply put 1800 hrs into the clock for on time for heat and the inbuilt clock will recognize 1800 hrs. I have asked staff at a Swift outlet and they could not answerr my question saying they had never benn asked that question before. Help me please or ring me 07977929986

Never having had a caravan that uses the Alde system, I can't answer your question. However, if there is anyone out there who can help, please lets us know and we will pass on the information

It depends on which one you have fitted but go to www.alde.co.uk and download the correct set up manual for your heater then print it out but remember there are diferent control clocks. You will also get complete info on Alde heaters here.
