Awning Heating

I would like to know if I can use my caravan heating to heat the awning i.e. extend the pipes and drill a hole in van with some sort of external flap.

There is an adaption kit on the market to convert the blown air heating in your caravan to heat your awning. However, a far more efficient way of heating your awning is to use a stand alone heater. These come in various guises and some have thermostats built in. We use a halogen heater which heats up really quickly and it has a safety cut out switch just in case it gets knocked over.
