Awning Size

If I change my caravan can I still use my old awning on my new caravan? My new caravan is 900 cm and my awning is 775 cm. Please could anyone help me?

The only way that you could use your old awning is if your new caravan requires the same size awning as your old caravan. As you have indicated that the awing size for your new caravan is 900cm, then your old awning of 775cm would be miles too small.

Awning adapter small awning to larger caravan
by: Anonymous

You can buy an awning adapter made by Isabella would make a small awning fit a larger caravan esentially converting one side into a porch awning. Give Swindon Caravans a call. It's called a pad and pole kit. I bought one approx 80 pounds used it on my 900 awning on my 1000 size caravan. Brilliant. My friend has done the same with a different make of awning and it works.

Awning Alteration

Or you could get the awning extended by up to a metre at www.awningrepairs.co.uk £75.00

Lady there did it on my old awning - was too old to sell on but good enough for a seasonal pitch, got two years out of it.

Workmanship was excellent - two triangular pieces added to roof seams where joins the sides, just meant the front was slightly smaller than at the rear inches only.

Would recommend - cheaper than a new awning.
