Do you happen to know whether a Pyramid Tuscany awning which fits a Bailey Ranger 460/2 caravan would fit a Bailey Ranger 470/4 caravan? Many thanks for your help.


I think the awning size for a 460/2 is 890cm and the size for a 470/4 is 905cm. Although the size difference is only 15cm, I think you will find it will be too small. It is always advisable to have the correct size awning fitted to your caravan.

As you will see from our website, we have a Bailey Senator Indiana. The awning size that you need is 1009cm. If you look on the manufacturers websites, they will tell you which are more suitable for seasonal use.

The Isabella awning measurement for a Bailey Pageant Bretagne is 1000cm. So your 900cm awning will be too small.

The 925-950cm should fit, it is just a matter of having equal lengths on each side. If you went for the next size down it might be a very tight fit.

It all depends on how much you are going to use the awning throughout the year. We have a Dorema Montana which has served us well. We also have fibreglass poles which are much easier to handle when erecting the frame and also lighter when transporting. I think Dorema have a factory clearance at the moment so it might be worth having a look at their website (www.dorema.co.uk). I think the awning size you need is about 1003cm.

I have a Bailey Pageant Burgundy Series 7 which has an awning size of 1008cm, so not sure if I need a 950-1000 or a 1000-1020 awning.


You will need to go for the 1000 - 1020cm awning. This will allow for any uneven ground that you may encounter.

Bailey Senator Montana 2004 Awning Size?

Can anyone tell me what size awning I need for my Bailey Senator Montana 2004 - the handbook says 1042cms but Isabella say 1058cms which would mean a 1050cms awning from Isabella but we used a Dorema size 16 - please help.


It seems Isabella have a different sizing method to other manufacturers. The Dorema size 16 has a measurement size of 925cm-950cm. If you have been using the Dorema size 16 and have had no problems with the size then there shouldn't be a problem.

If you are thinking of buying a new awning, most suppliers will be able to tell you what the correct size awning you need from their database.

We are wanting to buy a porch awning not sure what size to buy.


There are many porch awning awnings on the market of various shapes and sizes. The choice really is up to you. I would advise that you go to a dealer that has an awning show room. There you will be able to see the awnings erected. This will give you some sense of space that each awning will provide you with. Just pick the one that suites your needs best. The dealer should be able to advise you if it will fit your caravan from his data base.
