Babies

How do other caravanners cope with sleeping arrangements with a very young baby on board? We bought a travel cot for our granddaughter but it wont fit in the aisle between the back beds and anywhere else would be a fire hazard!

If there is anyone out there who have babies or very young children and go caravanning and might be able to offer some advice, please contact us and we will pass your information on.

If your van is a 3/4 berth you could use the lower bunk and get a cot side rail to stop the baby from rolling off like they use in hospitals.
You can buy them quiet easily from either a place
that sell things for a people who have disabilities or some baby stores sell them or depending if the baby is very young try a moses basket

I had the same problem, and the solution was discovered by luck! Some cots are wider than others, but sadly I can't remember which was the smaller. It's all to do with the feet, not the upper parts of the cot.
