Please could you tell me if you think caravan covers are really needed. If so why? Any information you could give me would be much appreciated. Regards
Caravan covers are not really a necessity. However, if you want to keep your caravan clean when not in use and don't waqnt the hassle of washing your caravan, then they are a good idea. You should be aware that they can cause scratching to your windows if not protected. I personally have never used a cover and have always used good quality cleaning products to keep my caravan looking good. Before winter arrives, I give my caravan a really good wash and they spray the whole exterior with Fenwicks Overwintering fluid. This product provides a protect coat that prevents the build up of algae and grime. It is fantastic and when I finally bring the caravan out of hibernation in the spring, I simply give the caravan a quick rinse and it looks like new again.

Do you recommend using a caravan cover ? Or does anyone have any good or bad points about using one? Any advice you could give me would be much appreciated. Thank You.
Caravan covers are a good idea, especially if you do not use your caravan alot. However, if you do alot of touring it can be a bind in constantly covering and uncovering your caravan. You also have to be careful not scratch windows etc. We don't use a cover because our caravan is in constant use and it is just as easy to give it a good wash.
