Do Caravans Need an MOT?
Please could you help as I have recently bought a small caravan and was wondering whether or not it would need an M.O.T? Many thanks for your help with this. At the moment, caravans do not require an MOT. However, it is the owners responsibility to make sure that the caravan is safe to travel on the road. Ideally it should be serviced anually

Does a caravan need a MOT or road worthy certificate?
At the moment caravans do not need an MOT or tax. However, they should be insured and also serviced yearly to make sure they are roadworthy and safe.

I am interested in getting my first caravan for family hoidays and really don't know much about it so any advice would help? For example does a touring caravan need tax, mot etc?
At the moment, caravans do not have to be taxed. However, it is the owners responsibilty to make sure that it is roadworthy. Ideally all caravans should be serviced yearly to ensure that they are safe to use.
