Caravan Stereo Memory Feed

by Rog Cannon

I have just purchased a Lunar Lexon EB (2001) and it has a Kenwood stereo fitted. It is isolated on the 12/240 electric panel and the problem I have is that it doesn't seem to have a permanent feed so the radio stations are lost each time you isolate the power to the van.
I am wondering how to best remedy this situation? I could add a permanent feed but would be concerned about draining the leisure battery. Or, I could make up a rechargeable battery pack and feed it from that?
Any ideas????
Many thanks.

Has anyone out there got an ideas that could help Rog?

Switched Live

Why not incorporate a small switch into the permanent live? Once your on site simply switch the switch on so the radio is permanently live for the duration of your stay. Obviously you will still need to re programme it the 1st time you switch it on, but it would be fine for the duration of your stay.
