Caravan towing over 7mtr maximum length

I have towed a Bailey Senator for many years with a Toyota Landcruiser. The new towing rules about to come in will restrict towing a trailer/caravan to 7mtrs including the A frame which is at least a mtr less than my Bailey Senator which will make my caravan and many others unusable.

What can I do?

Gov website error

Hi Tony

There was mention on other caravan websites that this was an error, which seems to have been fixed now.

gov.uk/towing-with-car/car-towing-weight-and-width-limits

Quote: "The maximum length for a trailer towed by a vehicle weighing up to 3,500kg is 7 metres. This length does not include the A-frame."
