As the standard status sputnic type is next to useless, I have a Vision Plus 420 Antenna, which I use direct to the tv set some times I get a good picture and some areas almost none, would the use of a signal booster help or do I need to spend more money and get a Status 530, my set is a LCD Freeview, or can you recommend some other product that would help.
Getting a signal from your aerial whilst touring can be a bit hit and miss. We got fed up with the poor reception we got from the factory fitted aerial on our caravan and ended up buying a digital aerial with a built in booster. We fitted it to a pole and clamped the pole to our jockey wheel. We always got a good signal after that.

I am looking for a fold down bracket for the tv shelf on a 1996 Elddis Ovation Wisp caravan. I have tried umpteen dealers without any success. Can anybody assist please?.
You could try a caravan breakers yard. They might be able to supply you with one. A list of breakers can be found on our website or you could try searching the internet to find one close to your location.
If you cannot find one through a breakers yard and if you are handy at DIY, why not try making one yourself.
We can't get the fitted aeriel to work on our Sterling Europa. In the cupboard where you push the aeriel up from, there is a cable connected to it with a little red light which I guess is supposed to come on! We have tried changing the fuse and it didn't work. Any ideas??!

I have a 10 year old caravan and a TV with freeview already on it but I cannot seem to receive any channels. Has anyone got any tips
I would ask your local dealer to see what they would suggest. It might be worth a try changing your aerial to a new digital one with a built in booster. That should do the trick.

My aerial sockets on my Elddis Typhoon 1991 don't seem to work. They have a 12volt two pin socket underneath what is this for and is this why they are not working?
The 12v two pin socket is simply for you to use 12v elecrical equipment. Check the aerial on your caravan and make sure that it is compatible to digital signals that are now being used.

What sort of tv ariel is best for reception in an old caravan.
Any good digital aerial will be ok. If you are in a poor reception area, a booster should help
