Cleaning a Caravan

What is the best solution to wash my caravan with ? If anyone could recommend a solution that they have used with good results that would be much appreciated.

I always use Fenwick's Caravan Cleaner and the finsish off with Fenwick's Bobby Dazzler rinse agent. This always leaves my caravan looking like new.

Green Stuff on Caravan

I never seem to be free of this green slime. There is not a tree near me and I'm parked on a concrete base. I've tried every caravan wash it still comes back in a month any tips from anyone out there.

Try using Fenwick's Caravan Cleaner. Then after giving you caravan a good wash, spray on Fenwick's Over Wintering Fluid. It is really good stuff and it does work.

Best Cleaning Product?

by Sera
(Leicestershire)

I would appreciate a bit of feedback on the most popular caravan cleaners - all about £10 each so dont wan't to wast my money...Has anyone used the Fenwick's brand?

We always use Fenwick's. Their products are very good and we would certainly recomend them. We also use a caravan polish made by Careavan. This is quite simply a brilliant polish. You can read our review of this product on our website.

Cleaning

I have a caravan thats had smoking inside and the ceiling is rather yellow. How can I clean it or can I repaint it? I would be grateful for any advice. Thank You.

A friend of mine is a painter and decorator and he is a great fan of sugar soap. He uses it all the time when preparing walls and ceilings ready for painting. He says it shifts most stains including nicotine. You can buy this from most DIY stores. I would however test a small area first just to see if it does damage the ceiling board.

Once you have given your caravan a good wash and all the algae has gone, try spraying your caravan with Fenwick's Overwintering fluid. We use this and never have a problems.

Cleaning outside of Caravan

by Mel Burke
(Scunthorpe)

I can never seem to get the outside of my caravan spotless. How would you recommend I clean the outside of my caravan. Any tips or hints regarding this would be much appreciated.

I find the best method is to use warm soapy water applied with a sponge or a suitable soft wash brush (you will probably need one for the roof). After the whole cravan has been washed, simply hose of with clean water. If you have any stubborn black marks, the best way of getting rid of these is to use a black streak remove. This can be obtained from most caravan shops or via www.soapysmiths.com. After the outside of your caravan in throughly clean, it is best to now give it a second rinse using a product called Bobby Dazzler made by Fenwicks. This is a brilliant product and again is supplied by most caravan shops or via Amazon (see below).
