Bunkum-on mains hookup the 12v systems work from the charger the reason the battery is flat and 12v is not working is because the charger is either switched off or Kaput,

Hi Pam. First and foremost make sure you have a good leisure battery connected then put the put caravan switch on the panel to caravan battery - your interior lights should now work as they are 12 volt. When you are ready hook up to the site mains and everything should now work. Hope this helps - Glyn Eldis owner.
