Assuming a 45kg propane bottle - both the price and consumption are surprising. I assume the gas bottle heats the water too so maybe they took a lot of hot showers or did washing. We chain our bottles so other site owners cannot pinch our gas. I once had a leak from the connector on top of the bottle which might be worth checking although the person who delivers and changes over should check that. With no heating on we find our summer usage minimal.
