I have a 1999 Elddis Wiston 2 berth, I would like to get a decent jack as there wasn't one with the van. I am having problems finding one that is suitable, could anyone recommend one?, preferably a hydrolic jack. It is a BPW chassis not an Al KO chassis. Thanks


I am told that the Ko-Jack made by Purple Line will fit both the Alko and BPW chassis. We use a Ko-Jack and think it is a great jack. Purple line also make a Ko-Jack Lite which is smaller than the original and is priced at around £70.

I did try a Ko-jack but I found the holes in the mounting brackets didn't line up with the holes in the chassis, so took it back to supplier. Someone said try a trolly jack, so I bought one today from Halfords with axel stands, crawling board, and wheel chocks for £49.95. It did the job and well worth the money. Thanks
