Pegging Awnings ( And What With)

Thanks for all the answers to my many questions elsewhere. Here's another one. As a camper, always camping on grass pitch, there was never a problem (mostly!) with pegging. Caravaners pitch their awnings on hardstanding and even concrete. I inherited 2 awnings with my caravan a full size and a porch but there does not appear to be any pegs. Are there special pegs for pitching on these surfaces or are there corner steadies or weighting devices that hold them down on hard surfaces. Sorry if this seems a stupid question.
There are many forms of pegs and it all depends on what surface that your are pitching your awning onto that will determine the kind of peg you need. More and more sites do offer a pitch with a hard standing which you would probably need a form of rock peg. However, if you were just pitching on grass, you could use a good quality plastic peg. If you go to any good caravan/camping shop, they should be able to give you advice and supply you with what you need.
