Soft Furnishings In Winter?

As we are new to caravanning...... about the mattress and upholstery....we intend to use it through the winter months....so do we need to remove them from the caravan in between trips away?

It is not necessary to remove your soft furnishings provided that you air your caravan occassionally and then keep it warm to prevent moisture build up. However, this year we have not been using our caravan over the winter and have removed all our soft furnishings, including the mattress.
