Sprite Musketeer Braking Layout

My in-laws have a Sprite Musketeer single axle van from around 1990ish. They had a problem with the brakes and have been told parts are unobtainable and it is unsafe to tow. I can understand the unsafe part, but surely parts can't be impossible to obtain?

Is there a layout of the braking system available anywhere to have a look at and try to repair it ourselves? Obviously any work would be checked by a technician before being put back on the road!

The garage it was taken to is extremely vague with whats actually wrong with it, so we figure looking at it ourselves may reveal more!




Your best bet of obtaining the part/parts that you need is through a caravan breakers yard. Most offer a mail order service, so distance should not be a problem. A list of breakers can be found on our website. Not sure of the diagram though, unless anyone else can help.
