Here's a quick and easy recipe for Sweetcorn Chowder you might like to try while caravanning.
Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 25 minutes
2 Onions, finely chopped
200g Potatoes, peeled
1 large tin Sweetcorn
175g Cooked Ham
How to Cook:
Fry the onions in oil gently for 4 minutes but make sure they don't burn or colour.
Cut the potatoes into small cubes then add to the onions and cook for a further 2 minutes.
Remove from the heat and add the flour, mixing well.
Add the sweetcorn and stock to the pan, mix well and then bring to the boil and simmer for 20 minutes.
After the 20 minutes, add the ham and milk, bring to the boil again and it's ready to eat!!
