How tight should the canvas be on an awning? Being new to caravaning and actualy living in our caravan we are not sure if the canvas needs to be as tight as possible in high winds or needs to have some movement in it. please help as my partner is geting rather scared in high winds.


Ideally your awning should be as tight as possible but not over tight, if that makes sense. We use a hand gadget called the Awning Companion.
