Water Inlet - Bessacarr Cameo 470 GL 1990

I have owned caravans for most of my adult life - my son has just bought his 1st, it is a Bessacarr Cameo 470 gl old one but good condition.

It came with little information and there is a problem with water system that I am baffled with. It does not have "flap" type water inlet or a filler for onboard tank-there is no onboard tank.

It has a Shurflo series 200 under the offside seat which connects to a carver cascade 2 9 litre hot water tank with heater. The inlet pipe to pump goes into the floor of the caravan...under the floor is a 'clean' area about 2" square but nothing else.

I am wondering if something has been removed or has fallen off from here which connects pump to an aquaroll or something. I have searched but can find nothing to help me on net ...don't want my son and his family to have to use bottles and give up on caravanning at 1st attempt can anyone help with advice on this please.
