I have the opportunity of purchasing a second hand 1025cm isabella awning. Would it be a good fit for my Bailey Indiana which has an awning size quoted as 1009cm.

The Isabella size required for the Indiana is 1000cm. Is it possible for you to try the awning before you buy to see if it will fit OK?
To find the correct size of awning for your van (any make) Get the van level then use a ball of string and start at ground level and feed it through the awning rail back to ground, now measure the string and now you have the size you need, this dose not include mudwall.

I would have thought there's little difference in the Indiana you have and the Abbey Spectrum that we had, and which took a 1025 cm awning. If you're being offered the Isabella at an excellent price, then go for it - if its a mile too big (which I don't think it will be) then you would be able to have it professionally altered reasonably.
